Camping at HYMB
Set in the heart of the Lee Valley Country Park, HYMB is an excellent venue for schools and youth groups to camp, for periods from 1 night to a week. Cost £3.00 per person per night.

The facilities include toilets, wash room (all hours) and showers (while base is open).

The site lends itself to both large camps of up to 100 campers and small camps of just a few tents. There are a number of different places on the site that can give you a private area for your own group.

The camp can be combined with a package of outdoor activities designed to meet the needs of the National Curriculum or just to have fun, with public transport access to local sites such as London’s Museums, Arts, Theatres, Parks and much more. These can easily be incorporated into your group plan.

The nearby railway station, 200 metres away provides a reliable service (on average 4 trains per hour) to Liverpool Street Station 25 minutes away, or to the West End approximately 35 minutes using over ground trains and the Underground.
To the north, direct trains serve Hertford, Ware, Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Cambridge, and Stansted Airport: ideal for international and exchange visits.
